Where can I check the terms and conditions of the call for applications?
The selection processes to access university teaching corps positions are published in the Official State Gazette (B.O.E.), the Official Gazette of the Valencian Community (D.O.C.V.), and, for informational purposes, on the PDI Funcionario portal.
Where can I get the application form?
The application form will be published alongside the call for applications in the B.O.E. and the D.O.C.V., and it can be obtained in electronic format under the Trámites (Procedures) section.
Along with the application, you must attach the documentation required in the third section of the call’s terms, and everything must be submitted within the established timeframe and at the designated locations.
What is the deadline for submitting applications?
Those wishing to participate in the selection process must submit the corresponding application, addressed to the Rector of the Miguel Hernández University, within 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the call for applications in the B.O.E.
What requirements must I meet to apply for the selection process?
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and must not have reached the retirement age established by current legislation. Additionally, candidates must meet the specific requirements of Articles 12 and 13, as well as the first, second, third, and fourth additional provisions of Royal Decree 1312/2007, of October 5, which establishes the national accreditation for access to university teaching corps, and any other requirements set forth in the second section of the call’s terms.
How can I know if I have been admitted to the selection process?
Once the application submission period has closed, the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be published on the notice board of the General Registry and Auxiliary Registries of the University’s Campus Management Centers, and, for informational purposes, on the PDI Funcionario portal. Claims may be filed within 10 business days starting from the day following said publication.
How can I know if I am the proposed candidate?
The committee judging the selection process will publish the minutes in the BOUMH (Official Gazette of the Miguel Hernández University) and, for informational purposes, on the PDI Funcionario portal. The committee will present a reasoned and binding proposal to the Rector regarding the candidate selected for appointment.
If I am the proposed candidate, what do I need to do?
The candidate proposed for the position must submit the following documents through the Electronic Office (Sede Electrónica) of the Miguel Hernández University within 20 days following the conclusion of the committee’s proceedings:

A photocopy of their National Identity Document (DNI).

A medical certificate.

A sworn declaration stating that they have not been dismissed from Public Administration by disciplinary proceedings and are not disqualified from public service.

Supporting documentation proving they meet the requirements of Article 4 of Royal Decree 1313/2007, of October 5.
Spanish applicants who are already career civil servants will be exempt from providing these documents and must instead present a certificate from the Ministry or Body to which they belong.
Once I have submitted my documentation, do I need to complete any further procedures?
No, you do not need to submit any further documentation. The Rector will proceed to appoint the proposed candidate, and the Teaching and Research Staff Service (Servicio de Personal Docente e Investigador) will handle the publication of the appointment in the B.O.E. and D.O.C.V.
When will I take office?
The proposed candidate must take office within a maximum period of 20 days, counting from the day following the publication of the appointment in the B.O.E.
